I am a qualified Antenatal Teacher, Infant Massage Instructor, Birth and Postnatal Doula offering birth and postnatal support throughout Southwest London and surrounding areas including Southeast London, North London and Central London through doula services. I am fluent in both Spanish and English and offer flexible, caring, non-judgemental doula services. I am committed to supporting women throughout their preparation for childbirth and give them information as well as confidence their birthing experience while empowering the entire family through the journey of parenthood.
I offer caring, non-judgemental support by being a good listener and helping mothers and their partners wherever I can. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish and offer my birth and postnatal doula services to women and their families across South West London. I founded El Recien Doula to physically and mentally support women experiencing child labour.
I strive to educate and support women so that they can be empowered to make their own choices in both birth options and parenting techniques. If you want someone to listen to your needs, explore your birthing preferences and offer knowledgeable advice, then I am the doula for you and your family. The Difference Between A Doula, Nurse and Midwife
Doulas do not carry out any medical tasks, instead, they provide physical and mental support during childbirth. Midwives are primary care providers in pregnancy and birth. They will oversee the safety and well-being of you and your baby and tend to be incredibly supportive during labour. A nurse will perform clinical tasks in the birth centre or maternity ward. Nurse’s do not provide support and are there to ensure that mothers and their newborns are safe and have all the required necessities.

I offer emotional support during your pregnancy and birth. While most partners and family members are too caught up in the excitement of labour, they are often not mentally available to you. That is where I come in as I will take care of all the mediocre tasks so that your partner can be completely there for you. Partners will be able to take breaks during lengthy labours so that they can contact family members, go to the rest room and even sleep for a few hours.
